The Gobena Ameni Foundation has officially announced the winners of its Best Student Scholarship for the 2022/23 academic year. The scholarships were awarded to outstanding students from the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at Ambo University, specifically from the Department of Pharmacy, Department of Veterinary Medicine, and Department of Animal Sciences.

The scholarship program is designed to support high-achieving students at Ambo University, with eligibility based on academic performance, including GPA requirements. In addition, the Foundation also provides a research award that is open to all young researchers across Ethiopia, encouraging innovative studies that address national development challenges.

According to the Foundation, the long-term plan is to expand the student scholarship program beyond Ambo University, making it accessible to more talented students nationwide.
