The Gobena Ameni Foundation has proudly announced the winners of its Best Students Scholarship Program for the 2024/25 academic year. This year’s scholarship recipients come from the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at Ambo University, representing the Department of Pharmacy, Department of Veterinary Medicine, and Department of Animal Sciences.

The scholarship program is designed to recognize and support outstanding academic performance, with eligibility limited to students enrolled at Ambo University who have demonstrated high GPAs and academic excellence.

In addition to student scholarships, the Foundation also provides a Research Award Program, which is open to young researchers across Ethiopia. This initiative aims to foster innovation, encourage impactful research, and promote knowledge creation in health sciences, veterinary studies, and related fields.

Speaking on the occasion, The Board Chairman of the Gobena Ameni Foundation emphasized that this is just the beginning of a broader vision:

 “Our plan is to gradually expand the scholarship program to reach more students and researchers across the country. Supporting bright young minds is an investment in the future of Ethiopia.”
